En esta comunidad alfarera sus necesidades basicas se ven saciadas gracias al oficio de la alfareria, actualmente las mujeres son quienes se dedican a esta labor, y los hombres normalmente al campo.

Buscamos de alguna forma romper con los roles de genero, haciendo conciencia de como hoy en dia, aun en un mundo globalizado, esto continua rigiendo en diversas, y mas de las que imaginamos, regiones dentro de Mexico.

Hoy por hoy, trabajamos con el colectivo de alfarerxs de Zipiajo, de lo cual pertenecen solo 4 hombres de 14 que integran este grupo favorecido por las mujeres.

La mayoria de estas mujeres proveen y es para ellas fundamental llevar recursos a su hogar para poder subsistir.

Hoy, poco a poco los hombres ven la alfareria como un espacio de oportunidad para obtener recursos fuera del campo.

Apoyamos esta comunidad de artesanos que prevalecen la tecnica prehispanica de construccion del barro favoreciendo  a una serie de familias que integran el colectivo y que hoy por hoy necesitan de los recursos que provienen de la alfareria.

In this artisan community their basic needs are satisfied thanks to the craft of pottery, currently women are the ones who are dedicated to this work, and men normally work in the fields.

We seek in some way to break with gender roles, raising awareness of how today, even in a globalized world, this continues to rule in various, and more than we imagine, regions within Mexico.

Today, we work with the collective of potters of Zipiajo, of which only 4 men out of 14 belong to this group favored by women.

Most of these women are providers and it is fundamental for them to bring resources to their homes in order to survive.

Today, little by little the men see pottery as a space of opportunity to obtain resources outside the field.

We support this community of artisans who prevail the pre-Hispanic technique of clay construction favoring a number of families that make up the collective and that today need the resources that come from the pottery.
